Barnaby's first orienteering race
Barnaby had his first race in NSW Orienteering Junior League this morning. He finished the 1.7km 12-checkpoint course around the University of Western Sydney, Kingswood, in exactly 20.00 minutes. Daddy went around with Barnaby, who has decided to retire from karate in favour of orienteering.

Oh Darling was it the sun in your eyes that made you look unhappy? Because you look so handsome in your smart uniform. Do have a wonderful time doing your orienteeering. I seem to remember your Dad doing it in the pine forests south of his school. Grandpa and I went tosee the SIlk Road exhibition at the National Museum in Canberra yesterday. It was so fascinating. I think you would love it. I will send you my "passport" which had to have stamped each time I entered a new city on the Road to Baghdad from Xian in China. Much love Grandma Caryl xx
