Barnaby has a new bike!

Barnaby and Daddy went to King Street Cyclery in Newtown on Saturday afternoon and bought Barnaby a new bike.

He had outgrown his old one, which Edward now rides.

The new bike is a 21-speed Mongoose mountain bike.

Barnaby loves it.

Whoopee do, Barnaby & Edward. I have something to tell you. When I was cleaning recently, I got my mop and buket for the bathroom floor. I put the mop into the hot soapy water and squeezed it out. When I started to mop, a large ( I think) grasshopper fell out. I thought oh goody I can save this for E&B as they will be intersted. So I gingerly picked it up by one of its very long antlers? and put it on the bath edge. Much later I came back and that cheeeky grasshopper had come back to life and was on the wall looking very fit! Do you think this was a case of suspended animation ? Much love Grandma Caryl xx

Barnaby stars in University of NSW English competition Well done Barnaby, who received a distinction in the UNSW 2012 International Competitions and Assessments for School - English. Barnaby finished in the top eight per cent for NSW and the ACT. Here's his certificate, which was presented at school assembly on Tuesday.
